ACTS Career course
(For engineering, B.Sc-IT, BCA/ MCA students)
Aptech Certified Technology Specialist (ACTS) is an 8-month career course for engineering & IT students which trains them in the latest versions of .NET & Java technologies.
Classes are held 3 or 5 times a week for 2 hours each session. Alternate theory & practical lab sessions are held.
Curriculum
(Choose from 3 tracks in ACTS)
Microsoft .NET platform* - 8 months
Sun Java platform - 8 months
Microsoft .NET + Sun Java platforms- 16 months
*Choose between Web & Windows component in .NET.
Microsoft .NET Platform (with 2 electives)
Term 1 is compulsory for all students of the .NET Platform. Term 2 has 2 options. Students may choose to focus on either the Web component or the Windows component of the .NET Platform.

- Most engineering, B.Sc-IT and BCA/ MCA students are not taught the latest, industry-relevant IT technologies. Faculty too are not trained to teach the latest version of software.
However, the IT industry requires well-trained employees qualified to work with the latest versions of advanced IT software.
To fill this gap between demand & supply of qualified IT professionals, Aptech has introduced the ACTS Career course to help engineering students specialize in .NET & Java technologies. - Aptech’s faculty are specially trained & certified to teach the latest versions of .NET & Java.
- ACTS includes theoretical classroom teaching as well as practical experience in the IT lab.
- ACTS can be completed part-time along with your engineering or IT degree/ diploma course.
- Includes E-Projects which are projects given, guided & evaluated by expert faculty. Through email, students get guidance from these top faculty at every stage of the project.
- Course includes industry inputs & seminars conducted by working professionals from the IT industry.
- After completing ACTS, students can appear for international certification exams conducted by Sun & Microsoft.
Certification
On successful completion of the .NET track, students get the ‘Aptech Certified Technology Specialist - .NET Platform’ certification.
On successful completion of the Java track, students get the ‘Aptech Certified Technology Specialist - Java Platform’ certification.
On successful completion of both, the .NET & Java tracks, students get the ‘Aptech Certified Technology Specialist (ACTS)’ certification.
