Quality teaching

Aptech specially selects, trains & certifies teachers to ensure that they are able to teach each IT course in a way that helps students get in-depth knowledge of the subject.

Faculty training & certification

Faculty Support
  • Aptech Computer Education has a policy of appointing only trained & certified faculty to teach students.

For each course, Aptech creates a ‘skill map’ of the technical skills that are required to teach the course.

The teachers (faculty) then appear for exams to test their skills.

Faculty who clear these exams are then 'certified' to teach the course.
  • Faculty are also asked to take mock classes where they are evaluated for their teaching & presentation skills. Among other things, Aptech checks whether the teacher is able to cover the lesson's content within the allotted time.

Separately, Aptech gets feedback on whether the books provided are easy for the students to understand.
  • Aptech regularly conducts ‘faculty evaluations’ where students provide feedback on whether or not they find a particular teacher effective. The acceptable score is 85% - all other faculty are asked to improve & then evaluated again until they get the desirable score.

Faculty awards

Aptech selects & awards the best teachers at zonal and all-India levels based on feedback provided by students & Centre Heads.

Faculty for advanced courses

For new technology or advanced modules, Aptech centres ask for the company to recruit & send faculty qualified and trained to teach these technologies.

Support by company's faculty

Aptech’s Academics Team is based at Aptech’s Head Office in Mumbai & at other branch offices. This team conducts regular visits to each Aptech centre.

During these visits, they meet students, teachers & parents to discuss their needs & expectations. Problems are resolved right there and then and where ongoing help is needed, the Team also keeps in touch with the concerned student or faculty.
