Oracle 9i DBA Fundamentals - 2 (Paper 4)

Ensuring the database’s availability for use is one of the Database Administrator’s (DBA) major responsibilities. Backups are critical for recovering from different types of failures. Oracle 9i has several methods to backup and recover Oracle database. RMAN, the powerful recovery manager, simplifies the duties of a DBA. By the end of this segment, students will get a foundation in Oracle Net administration, and backup and recovery operations
